I always thought his hubris would bring him down. He's skated away from just about everything in his life and I'm sure he thought he could skate here too.

And he thinks Barr can make everything go away. He thinks he has his own Roy Cohn, not understanding that that whole house of cards eventually fell down too.
Geez, can you imagine living your whole life like that? Always looking back over your shoulder, worried that you will finally be found out and "punished" for your wrongdoing? And then breathing a sigh of relief when you dodge another bullet? No wonder he looks like he's 112 years old today.
