12. If Trump's base

sticks with him, it won't matter. The GOP Senators will still vote mostly to acquit. Oh, sure, we'll pick up Murkowski and probably Collins, but that won't matter. Even Mittens will not vote for removal if he doesn't think it will do him any good to vote the other way.

However, if Trump's base loses faith in him, the skids will quickly be greased in the Senate in enough time to get another (saner looking) nominee in place for the fall election.

But I kind of wish they wouldn't rush this. I'd like to see a bunch of witnesses. I'd like to see what else is on that top secret server.

Besides, if Trump continues to obstruct, won't that add a lot of time?

She hasn't led us astray yet. She has something planned as far as the timing goes. That timing is part of something bigger.

She's been right so far.

I remember Watergate and how long that took. Also I'd like to see Barr and some others receive the punishment they deserve.

The fact that there are now impeachment hearings doesn't mean Trump is going to start cooperating.

My guess would be that she knows what she's talking about.

That would sure be a lot to be thankful for.
