and because there's this incentive to misappropriate blame by using propaganda and misinformation, the fascism that is very evident, is allowed to continue to exist.

This is one of the major reasons (among several) why America needs transformative progressive leadership. This is why incrementalism won't save us, because it'll never go as far as it needs to in order to really get rid of the fascist threat. Moderates, centrists, and incrementalists believe these folks can be reasoned with. They want to separate American fascism via Trump from the numerous laws that have been passed since 9/11 that paved the way for Trump to rise to power.

There is a serious crisis of truth and an unbelievable amount of intellectual dishonesty that is pretty rampant in American politics. Mostly because the politicians most complicit don't want to bear the burden of their actions. The chickens have come home to roost.

On the Right, they're just living in denial...much like those in Germany that supported the Nazi Party. I think a small percentage of the Republican Party will come around and go along with impeachment, but I don't expect it to be more than 15%. If more than 15% of Republicans support Trump's impeachment by this time next year...Trump is finished. I mean, it already looks like he's finished now...but the loosening support within the party will be the nail in the coffin. He's already one of the most disliked Presidents in U.S. history.
