I never saw this until tonight.
Barack Obama had quite a drop the mic moment on Monday's Jimmy Kimmel Live!and he didn't even actually have a microphone.
The President of the United States gamely read "Mean Tweets" from social media users across the countryincluding one from Donald Trump. Obama kept a straight face as he read Trump's tweet saying he "will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States!" Without missing a beat, the current POTUS fired back at his wannabe successor. "Well, @realdonaldtrump," said Obama, "at least I will go down as president." He followed that zinger with a dramatic iPhone drop. (See what we mean about Obama not needing a mic?)
This obviously was not Mr. Obama's first mic drop moment.

Repeat:
"Well, @realdonaldtrump," said Obama, "at least I will go down as president." He followed that zinger with a dramatic iPhone drop.

And looked quite handsome as he did it.

(7,365 posts)Is 1000x the man the Orange Dump is. Feel free to disagree with PBO all you want, but the man exuded supreme class and dignity. He was unflappable even amidst some of the most slanderish (not a word) bullshit any President has ever had to endure. What did President Obama do? Stayed above it, didn't tweet like a little bitch, he worked hard for the nation he so proudly served.
YES, there were things about the Obama administration policies I'd have liked to have seen go different (I really think we need single payer and they really did little with college tuition), but by and large he advocated mostly good policies and was a MAN we could be proud of, a brilliant scholar and a fine statesman.
I fucking miss him.

President Obama, thank you!
