What really needs to happen is for people to start paying attention

So few do. I know there’s a large willfully ignorant section that is not going to change. But I believe in general younger people lean more liberal. But they don’t pay attention to politics. I have one friend who is 30 and we share real similar views. I asked him the other day “I don’t know anyone (well) in your age group besides you; I have to ask are you at all typical or where are your peers?” His answer was pretty much what I expected, he said maybe 20% of people his age pay any attention to politics at all. I’d guess most don’t see how things directly effect them, which they most certainly will if things keep in the Trump trajectory.

Politics affects young people much more than others: they have more future for it to operate on. .nt Bernardo de La Paz Oct 2019 #2
