It seems that this can only delay the process, not prevent it. I see a basis. I am concerned with Pompeo's interpretation of the process itself. That remark is unbecoming of a person holding that office and extremely disrespectful to the Committee. The wording is telling, as well. "...only understood as..."? That is a matter of interpretation and it is a personal one. Has he no decorum whatsoever?
