What am I missing?

Pompeo is indicating that he probably will not comply with a subpoena.

I'm so burned out on this shit that I can't remember, but I'm sure others have not complied?

Since when do people get to do this?

If we are to be a nation of laws, then we need enforcement against non-compliance.

Throw their asses in jail if they do not comply. I don't care who the fuck they are. Anything less is laughable in my book. Congress does have the power of enforcement, don't they? Sergeant at Arms? Capitol Police? Sheriff Andy Taylor? Somebody? Because if for some reason they don't, then they have no power at all. What about inherent contempt?

No more replays of Hope Hicks "deciding" to disregard a subpoena, or Lewandowski chuckling his way through a hearing. If we have any more incidents like that we'll lose some of what we've gained over the past seven days.

We have to get tough; it's now or never. Time to haul out the handcuffs or use extreme legal measures.

the Democrats on the committee are trying to bully and intimidate the State Department. That's rich considering what they did to SOS Clinton for 11 fucking hours! She didn't whine or break a sweat once. That's all these crooks are doing. Whining and obstructing justice.

Send the sergeant at arms to haul them before Congress as required.

I think we all want to know if it is going to come to, obey the subpoenas or ________! What?

If there is nothing after or, this is really a very big problem of great import. What good is a subpoena without enforcement? As was said, it would certainly be a legal document that would compel the rest of us to comply or face very serious consequences.

Law or not?
