China unveils nuclear missile that can possibly strike US in 30 minutes with 10 warheads

The DF-41 is designed to reach speeds of 7,672 miles per hour, which would allow the missile to reach parts of the United States within 30 minutes, according to The Sun. The new missiles were displayed on 16 separate launchers, bringing up the rear of Tuesday’s 70th year celebration of the communist People’s Republic of China.
“No force can shake the status of our great motherland, and no force can stop the progress of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation,” Chinese President Xi Jinping said, commemorating Mao Zedong’s pronouncement of the founding of the modern Chinese government from the Tiananmen gate.
The Sun reports that analysis by the Centre for Strategic and International Studies in Washington has determined the DF-41 could carry 10 separate nuclear warheads, allowing one missile to attack multiple targets.

A pox on all this fucks who create even better ways to achieve our mutually assured destruction in lieu of cooperation and diplomacy in a time where it is essential that we transcend many of the archaic and outmoded forms of nationalism that imply an enemy. Often, that idea of defense supports propaganda as a means to control the population, just as much as a defense ploy and the necessity of it.
It sends such a wonderful message from the powers that be. The people of the world pay for it one way or another. The despots and Oligarchs are not telling us about our protection and safety in any country involved, they are flexing their muscles using the common assets of the peoples and showing their might and power. China is making more of a threat than offering a peaceful way to manage WMDs.
Really, fuck that! It is insane and very troubling in times like these. There are pressing issues that make the demonstrations of military power and advancing weaponry seem senseless, backwards and nihilistic to the Nth degree. It seems we have not developed enough rationally and emotionally to even possess weapons of that kind, it's like chimps with guns.
I understand MAD, and I see how it works and the benefits of it, but we seem to be gradually going past the sensibility of that and the treaties we once had in place pertaining to nuclear armaments are becoming obsolete or are being overlooked. I wonder what time the Doomsday Clock is going to be set to because of that announcement?
They do not have my permission to destroy most of the civilized world! 
Enough of that! We have fast food and to go with, even faster Armageddon. Gee whiz.
