The Republican Party presents a clear and present danger that relies heavily on fomenting and exploiting racism and sexism. And the media deserves a lot of blame for making Trump possible. That's the reality and Dems shouldn't shy away from stating the truth over and over and over again.

I retract the statement. I won't erase it because I'm not one to try and hide my statements when I find they are in error. However, the only reason I am retracting it is after thorough thought on this matter quite truthfully I don't even think it matters any longer what we say or don't say. My original intent was to avoid making it (the impeachment process) look political, but who cares at this point? Political or not, trump is corrupt. Republicans just don't care. There is nothing we could or could not say to change that calculus. Therefore I retract my statement.
