I'm scared that once the new Democratic president takes office in 2020, that we will see another opportunity slip away to prosecute the criminals who held office for the prior period.
Obama deciding to not prosecute Bush/Cheney for war crimes comes to mind. (ABU-GHRAIB/GITMO/BLACKWATER)
Talk me down. Tell me what assures you the Trump cabal will be punished, and not pardoned or given a pass.
What will be different?
I don't want to see Trump golfing ever again.

(16,616 posts)once he is gone, I see the new AG opening up all those cases again, or at least stopping the interference with them. There won't be any DOJ authority to block these investigations and they should continue at a much faster pace than currently.
