Why is fox pushing so hard for an impeachment vote?

Some loon as I was skimming channels on Brett Baire spouting.

"Compell witnesses? HOW there has not been a vote on impeachment"

Then he cackles like the wicked witch.

The Senate holds a 1 week show trial... votes to acquit, no more evidence is produced, this becomes old news.

The RW talking point is that impeachment is illegitimate unless the House first votes to open an impeachment inquiry.

This talking point is, of course, bollocks.

Most said dems were not going to impeach IIRC, either way ... they had a vote on it !!!
