How can the Republicans spin the evidence we have seen so far, into a winning message?

...in the next election?

There were many people, and some here, that believed if the Democrats impeached, and the Senate acquitted, it would help Trump in the next election? Does anyone still believe that?

No doubt, the Republicans, and especially Donald Trump, are very good at spinning. How do they spin their way out of this?

In my opinion, the Republicans have looked very scattered and disorganized in the last few days. If there was nothing else to uncover and everything was calm until the next election, then people might forget about what has transpired in the last few days? But, we know that is not going to happen. Chaos and controversy will follow Trump as soon as the sun comes up tomorrow. As soon as he begins tweeting.

The longer this is investigated, the worse it is for Republicans. Democrats do not have to impeach according to some timeline. They can let them stew in their juices, if that is what they desire? They have the facts and the Constitution on their side.

It is the Republicans that are sitting in the hot seat.

They didn't have a winning message in 2016. They had Russia, Comey, voter suppression, the media. Garrett78 Oct 2019 #3
