Until the Republicans cry "Uncle!" or are too embarrassed to defend Mr Trump any further.
We know, and they know, there is a lot more to uncover.
We now hear that another intel person is contemplating whether to file a whistleblower complaint?
That will blow Trump's mind. He hasn't even found the first whistleblower yet. It will deeply disturb his stable genius if another whistleblower comes forward.
When he calls someone a "low-life" and calls an investigation "disgraceful" and a "hoax", you can bet that someone has discovered the truth on him.
My hope is that the Democrats do not think they have to finish this investigation by the end of the year to impeach or not impeach. In what way would it interfere with any candidate's message? What message could they have that is more important than getting rid of Donald Trump?
In my opinion, so long as the Republicans continue to balk, Democrats should continue to investigate. Put the blame right where it belongs - on the backs of the Republicans.
We all want to see Trump impeached as soon as possible. But so long as there is evidence to uncover, they should be in no hurry to impeach. We have waited 3 years. We can wait 3 or 4 months more, in my opinion.

(22,756 posts)I agree though... there is more than enough evidence to vote on articles right now, but investigating further will only help encourage Republicans to come to their senses(?)...
