"It sounds like a RICO charge, running a criminal enterprise at the State Department"

Chris Matthews didn't mince words on last night's show.

Hard hitting show with all of the guests doing full takedowns of all the current criminality.

The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, commonly referred to as the RICO Act or simply RICO, is a United States federal law that provides for extended criminal penalties and a civil cause of action for acts performed as part of an ongoing criminal organization.

prosecute a RICO charge within the cabinet? What harms could be proven under RICO?

What prosecutors under Barr could bring it forward, even at some district court level?

Chris sounds tough, and though he and I aren't lawyers, Barr actually is tough, or at least his AG role is. He'd use the "not guilty" vote that completes the presidential impeachment process to bolster his claim that he had no intention of subverting the government.
