and I didn’t see a hat, a sign, a bumper sticker, nothing.

I know there are supporters there, but most people just want to live their lives.

But 'Nooga has been more liberal in general than the K'patch area.

Say hello to my rock climbing nephew there.

Bluegrass was developed by Bill Monroe and Bill Monroe had respect. He knew where his roots came from. Quite a few of his early works spoke clearly about racism. If you learn the words to the early bluegrass tunes and you learn the meaning of those words, Mule Skinner's Blues and Cotton Eyed Joe are only a few of the songs that will get you steaming when you think of the damage caused by racism.

We play the Cotton Eyed Joe in Texas, but the words are cleaned up and we think it is about some handsome young white stud that plays music and makes all the girls fall in love with him. In case you don't know, the song is about a blind slave, killed by a girl's father because she fell in love with him.

If you don’t have Lucky’s, and we are just getting them in Florida, it is kind of an every person’s Whole Foods with a cafe and cup holders that allow you to buy a $2 draft beer and shop with it. Not totally nuts and twigs but getting there. I like it for some things.

Anyway, this fat old white guy(I’m a somewhat fat white guy as well) was at a table in the cafe with a MAGAt hat on. Drinking beer, reading an iPad and scowling at everyone. It was apparent he was only there as a fuck you to the very diverse and generally younger clientele. I would guess looking for a confrontation.

Well, his whole stick was backfiring. People were kind of making fun of him. A young middle aged African American couple were in line in front of me in line. The lady summed up what everyone was thinking when she said to her partner, ‘look at that old fool sitting over there’.

He won no new supporters.
