Syria was always about oil and gas pipelines. Assad needed to be deposed because he wouldn't allow a Qatari gas pipeline to go through his country but he did allow Iraqi/Irani pipelines. Just guess where those pipelines land when they hit Europe? That's right, Ukraine. Putin is administrating those pipelines that go through Syria. This is why Putin came to the aid of Assad and since Trump is Putin's puppet he will follow Putin's orders regarding Syria.

Oh and I think, I will have to look this up, that Putin has a natural gas pipeline contract with Ukraine that expires next year. Ukraine wants to cut out or cut back on Russian gas and supply its own gas that it discovered. Hillary Clinton was involved in helping Ukraine develop its own natural gas, that's why Putin hates her so much. Putin didn't want Hillary as our president he needed a stooge and he got one.

They were our key ally in the fight against ISIS and sacrificed thousands of lives. Turkey considers them terrorists and will likely take harsh action. A genocide could happen, the world needs to do something. This is not only against the national security interests of the US, this is a potential crime against humanity in the form of genocide.

I saw this late last night. Since my son in law is Kurdish, I have come to know many other Kurdish families since their marriage. They are wonderful people.

We have just dropped them off a cliff with only that little barely rooted twig to cling to and the anvil falling directly on them.
