Backed into a corner, Trump begins flailing...

With the impeachment evidence mounting, Donald J. Trump has backed into a corner that has no doorway through which he can escape. It's looking like desperation time. What can he do?

Well, he did something. He announce the withdrawal of troops from Syria, leaving our NATO ally, Turkey, in the lurch, since it is sending troops into Syria simultaneously with Trump pulling out

As a distraction, however, it is a poor one. Lindsey Graham, for example, has condemned this action as foolhardy. Just yesterday, the same Lindsey Graham was defending Donald J. Trump on the impeachment issue. Trump is misjudging and acting stupidly in his attempt to distract. Instead, he's setting up even more criticism from those who have been supporting him.

His retreat in Syria will get the support of Vladimir Putin, Trump's mentor in all things. Perhaps that's good enough for Trump, who clearly is flailing his arms about purposelessly these days.

Where will it all end, I wonder? Perhaps it's all trending toward an exit from the White House for Presidented Trump.

One can hope, anyhow.

Trump will profit personally by sale of units in Trump Tower Istanbul. But this is great for Russia who probably took this as payment for more 2020 interference.

He simply has no idea what he should do to extricate him from the very many fires he has started. But, he thinks he must do something. I hope the nuclear button isn't located in the corner he's trapped himself in.

There is nothing off the table. People have laughed at me here when I've mentioned that he would consider nuking someone if he thinks it could help him. He's asked his advisers about nukes many times.

The second Trump thinks a nuclear warhead could benefit him, he will do it without a second thought. If he thinks he could detonate a nuke and blame it on someone else and that in the chaos that follows it would never get properly investigated, he would do it.

He is a true sadistic sociopath. If he thought he could get away with it, he'd kill 10 children each morning if he thought doing so would make his coffee taste slightly better. The lives of others mean zero to him.
