I am very close to Donald Trump's age.

Unlike Trump, however, I am keenly aware that I am on a downhill slope, at least in terms of my expectations for the future. I recognize that I have no more than a couple of decades left in my life, and perhaps even less than that.

So, also unlike Donald Trump, I am examining my life and weighing my accomplishments and failures. I'm looking at decisions I have made in the past, with the realization that decisions I make from here on out are less likely to have an impact.

I'm not thinking about what I will do in the next four years, but what I have done in the past 74 years. I'm looking at how I have conducted my life, and judging myself accordingly. So far, I can see very little harm that I have done, and enough good to say, "OK, that has all worked out pretty much OK."

Awareness of passages is something I consider to be important. I have passed my years of making a significant contribution to society, really, and am waxing nostalgic, rather than planning my next actions.

Donald Trump is not like me. He thinks he is immortal, important, and wise. He is none of those things. He is an old man approaching the declining years of his life. He probably does not want to look back on his actions honestly, so he continues to attempt to look forward.

Here's the deal, Donwald: You're almost done. It's time to start finding ways to correct whatever harm you have done through your actions. Your legacy depends on that. Start reflecting on your life, instead of planning your next exploit. The next decade or two will go better for you if you do. That's my advice.

how he's said to be worried about the effect of impeachment on his resume! Hey bonehead, you're at the end of your resume! Doesn't matter anymore!

Maybe he meant legacy and his legacy smells like an outhouse.
