Like Many People with Cognitive Disabilities, Trump Listens

to the person he's talking to and believes that person is telling him the truth. He knows nothing about complex situations, will not stop to consult with his own experts, and believes that he is the one who must make decisions and thinks they must be made quickly.

He's subject to influence by anyone he talks to. So, if he's talking to Erdogon, then Erdogan is the expert. If he is asked to take some action, he is very likely to take that action, because he can't think of anything else to do.

Trump listens to the last person he talks to, because he can't remember and doesn't understand anything that he is told. He may or may not realize that, but that is the case.

People like Putin understand Trump's limitations very well and know exactly how to manipulate Trump into acting the way they want. A little flattery, a little "good ol' boy" backslapping, and Trump goes along with just about anything.

That's the danger of having someone with cognitive disabilities running things. They can't think or reason clearly, and are subject to the influence of whoever they're talking to. Trump is dangerous, because he doesn't know a damn thing about anything and takes his opinions from others, who are manipulating him freely.

We need to get rid of him as President ASAP, before he gives it all away.

I suspect that many times the person(s) he's talking to are the voices in his head. Arkansas Granny Oct 2019 #1

According to my Trumpster family, it is the Democrats who want to give everything away. And back in 2017 or so, they were of the belief that the Democrats were going to transform our society into something like North Korea.

Of course, that was before their hero made nice with North Korea, so maybe they wouldn't mind a little marching and worshipping of their supreme leader.

BTW, I agree with you, I just needed to vent. Your phrase about "gives it all away" reminded me of all the times I heard that accusation thrown towards Democrats.

the forest for the trees is helpfull to others in a group or country. Outsiders usially get fooled less by psychopaths (see Malcolm Gladwell's latest book) than insiders with detailed memory capacity. Trump is so outside the big picture of americans
he is inside the *** of aithoritarians. He is an aberration of a dyslexic. He is not a connecter. He is not compassionate. He is not kind. And he doesn't see the forest or the trees.

He is not among the many millions of us who have some kind of cognitive misfunction. I resent the implication.

He can CHOOSE how much time he's willing to invest in listening

He's lazy, narcissistic, instant-gratification oriented, and he just doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself
