There were about 6 or so candidates.

I, of course, favor the Liberals and NDP. Pierre Trudeau had to form a coalition with the NDP after the 1972 election. His son may have to do the same.


The nightmare for Canada would be a Conservative - Bloc Québécois coalition.

3. I know. The left and center left is split 4 ways in canada if you count the bloc

Quebecois. At least there is a new harder right party to split the right a bit.

4. If Trudeau can't get a majority, hopefully the NDP and Liberals can form a coalition.

Some of the most progressive Canadian legislation came out of Pearson’s Lib-NDP government in the later 1960’s.

work with Liberals. Yes lots of great canadian legislation comes from the far left. The Liberals are great a stealing ideas since they are the only lefties who have been in power federally. I still wish the left wasn't split in canada.
