Like most of his buildings, he doesn't own it.

The Turkish owner of Trump Towers Istanbul, who pays Trump for the use of his name, was reported in December 2015 to be exploring legal means to dissociate the property after the candidate's call to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S. [4] In June 2016, Turkish President Erdogan has been reported to call for the removal of the Trump name from the towers, saying "Trump has no tolerance for Muslims living in the US. And on top of that they used a brand in Istanbul with his name. The ones who put that brand on their building should immediately remove it."[5]
Just to remind us that his business is garbage and he doesn't own shit. A fraud from head to toe.
So what? Erdogan promised to leave the name on, so Trump condemns the Kurds?

(12,712 posts)It is not hard to speculate that Trump's run was inspired by his real financial state at the time, at least relatively speaking in regards his real net worth.
It seems like the TrumpKids(tm) are working hard to exploit the opportunity and utilize clout and connections to rebuild or enrich the brand.
Which comes back to the illustrious tax return issue. Their is most obviously something very important in that information that makes it worth it to keep them a big secret. The more they resist it legally, the louder the klaxon gets and the more we can assume its really, really bad and enough to do real damage to Trump's Grand Facade(tm) by way of what it reveals about him.
So, the questions revolve around how much he had, the debt he was holding, who held his debt, and who he may be beholden to. These are all very pertinent questions that need to be answered definitively.
I want to see those tax returns!
