Today, CA Gov Newsom texted my daughter that he signed a bill she supported in a recent editorial!

She was really excited to get the message, "Just signed Gavin," with a photo of his signature on the bill!

[The photo with Gov. Newsom includes her brother (my son). It doesn't have anything to do with this bill, but was from a visit to Sacramento when the Gov was still Lt. Gov., but running for governor. My daughter was lobbying different candidates about the need for a long-term care plan that is affordable to all who need assistance (while also supporting the rights of domestic workers providing the assistance)... and since she has a speech disability, her brother was interpreting.]
