Since this is all "fake news", one wonders why the White House doesn't just let these people testify to publicly humiliate the Democrats.... since... like they say... nothing inappropriate happened.

I'd like to see Trump sit for 11 hours thoughtfully answering ridiculous questions by truculent House members.

Hell, he wouldn't last 11 seconds in answering thoughtful questions.

The last advice he ever took was Roy Cohn's, and since then he has never been wrong. Of course he did no wrong-- he is incapable of doing the wrong thing.

Remember, it's Trump we're talking about-- his only fear is being embarrassed.

The tRump mob smear everybody all the time. It is their first and favorite and last trick. Benghazi, benghazi, benghazi.

So they fear other people smearing them.

But, as we all know, they have much to be ashamed of and much to hide to avoid jail time. That is, of course, the real reason.

Why are we following the rules when trump is egregiously violating them. If he refuses to cooperate, then witnesses should testify whether executive privilege or not. F..'em. What are they going to do, throw you in jail? They can't because they wont cooperate so they have no standing! If he wants to piss all over the Constitution, well it works both ways, not just his way!!
