We are not on the verge of a civil war, we are on the verge of a revolution against tyranny.

If Trump is impeached, some people believe the Trump voters could start some type of civil war. I do not believe that is feasible. You could see isolated , random acts of violence around the country that would be put down quickly.

On the other hand, When the Democrats bring forth Articles of Impeachment, they will prove to the American people Trump should be removed. If the Republicans in the Senate tell the people, too bad, we will not remove Trump for his crimes and then Trump goes on to win the election because it is rigged, that would be tyranny plain and simple. The end of democracy in America. It would spark a fire storm.

I believe you would see massive violent protests around the country, Revolution. The American people better wake up and demand Trump be removed.

We have to stop making them sound like they are more than they are - and they don’t all agree on everything.

My mother has 'visible' blinders come down if u say something against whatever her current church tells her to believe. She dressed up grandkids (not mine) as 'Warriors for Christ' with swords etc.....

They are 25% of our population - they were brainwashed in some way and they WANT to DIE FOR THE LAWD!!!!!

They are part of that 25%. I know of many more who are fanatical by association but are incapable of acting out. I know of many more evangelicals who could not, would not, will not participate in acts of violence. All these are part of that 25%. I would estimate that less than .1% of that 25% would or could possibly act out if they had a charismatic leader to egg them on and only 1 in million would act out on their own. That's a lot and it's terrible, but it's not a civil war.

25% of the population may be evangelical but only a tiny fraction could act out in a violent way.

Very, very few would have the guts to take up arms against the government. Not if it would interfere with their creature comforts.

The assertion that there are going to be "massive violent protests" if he wins in 2020 is nonsense.

It's nearly as misguided an assertion as Trump claiming there will be a civil war if he's impeached.

Susan Sarandon is still wrong.

The Republicans go against the American people and refuse to convict a criminal and then the criminal rigs the election and wins. What do you think will happen? Peace rallies? That would be the end of our democracy.

Most people just aren't going to go to the mat for this guy. The news has gotten out, slowly, painfully over recent years. Trump is a scam artist and he will burn anyone who isn't loyal. He's not inspiring ANYONE with his civil war talk. He's just fomenting hate. His platform is a ghost.
