Turkey can take full advantage of Trumps stupidity.

Turkey can do whatever they want and simply say Trump gave us the green light. It has been unbelievable how lucky Trump has been while in office. So many countries could have taken advantage of him, blackmailed him. He has made so many dumb, corrupt decisions and he has never really paid a price. Maybe this will be the mistake where his luck finally runs out. I know, how many times has that been said.

Trump is without a doubt one of the luckiest people who has ever lived.

1. I don't see the decisions as "stupid"

He is not very well-educated and often knows little about what he talks about, that's for certain. He also shows evidence of several, rather severe personality disorders that he has been allowed to coddle and utilize to his advantage. They work for what he wants to do.

However, it seems to me that decisions that he has been making have a definite purpose and there is a lot more than meets the eye going on. There is much to support that, so no details are needed here since there is plenty of information out there.

My observations are that much of what we see is manipulative. Twitter gave him the perfect platform for that.

Some may argue otherwise, but from everything I have seen and read, we are being played more than is evident. Some of the "stupid" and "crazy" is a game, and the decisions are like the fox in the hen house, but that's not to say he is not a dimwit or touched.

When you read up on his past, this is just a continuation of a confidence game and he is an expert at that regardless. That is why I am wary to it as being intentional, though now he is getting caught up in his disorders and more decrepit mentally with time.

Add all the disparaging of NATO and our European allies... we look terrible on the world stage.

Concerns as Turkish Navy surrounds Cyprus
VASSILIS NEDOS

Tension mounted in the Eastern Mediterranean on Tuesday as the Turkish Navy practically encircled Cyprus with almost 20 vessels, including frigates and submarines.

Turkey’s move coincided with the imminent launch of operations by the Yavuz drillship within Cyprus’ exclusive economic zone (EEZ), while the Barbaros vessel is also conducting seismographic research in the island’s waters.

At the same time, there were no French or American military forces present in the region.

This absence of Western powers with economic interests in the region at a time when Turkey is blatantly violating Cyprus’s EEZ is seen to signify that countries like France and the United States clearly want to avoid a militarization of the crisis in the Eastern Mediterranean, which is something that Ankara obviously wants.
