That is the correct answer. This is yet another example of Trump's concept that all interactions are transactions. The Kurds do not matter to him. No one in Syria does. I can't believe we're talking about the same region where my grandmother was deported in 1915 and watched her family die. They were from the Anatolian mountains, as most Armenians were.


Eastern Syria is where the Turks sent people to die. The climate was horrible and Armenians died from thirst and starvation in Syria. I think that is where most Armenians died. My grandmother was OK in the mountains, (she walked over 100 miles...no one in her family was dead from the trek) but when they got to the camps in Syria, they all started dying like flies.
