IF there were enough gop senators on board with us, how quickly could he be physically removed?

Would there have to be a trial or could it just be a voice vote after an opening statement by the "prosecutor"? And after he's voted out, how long does he have to get out of the WH and officially have zero power?

I think that before a vote will be cast in the House for a formal impeachment trial to be held in the Senate they'll already know that enough Senate repukes have flipped on him.

When it comes out soon that he's done something egregious enough to get 20 repukes, I think this will move at lightning speed.

That Trump will be Impeached and CONVICTED in the Senate.

Despite how egregious the charges are and have been proved, any Senate Republican who votes NOT to convict will be on the record of having done so. Their defense will be laughable at best. The American people will remember. The shame and stain of that vote will tarnsih anything good they may have done.

This is the vote Mitch McConnell FEARS!!!!

Getting 20 Repukes? Too much to hope for. I think , maybe, 4 to 6 but that's it.
Wonder what number the Los Vegas bookies are giving on this?

I'd say.

If the House and Senate really really wanted to get rid of the Clockwork Orange.

All they would need would be for Roberts to show up to preside over the vote to convict. He's gone the instant the Senate says he is.

with impeachment. Until he wasn't popular any more. So, there should be a tipping point there somewhere.

As far as his physical removal goes-- we have never actually removed a president before (Nixon resigned) so we will find out if Congress somehow sets a date.
