The Fixer meets with the head of the propaganda arm of the republican party.
William P. Barr, the attorney general, met privately Wednesday evening with one of President Trumps frequent confidants, Rupert Murdoch, the media mogul whose holdings include Fox News, which has recently become more critical of the president.
The meeting was held at Mr. Murdochs home in New York, according to someone familiar with it. It was unclear if anyone else attended or what was discussed. Aides to both Mr. Murdoch and Mr. Barr declined requests for comment on the meeting.
The visit took place as the impeachment inquiry into Mr. Trump by House Democrats has gathered momentum. Mr. Barr has emerged as a key defender of the presidents concerns about the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Mr. Barr was criticized in the spring for his handling of the report by the special counsel, Robert Mueller III, before it was released publicly.
Mr. Trump has sought out Mr. Murdochs opinion on a wide range of issues in the past, and Fox News has provided Mr. Trump with key support both as a candidate and as president.

Barr did go overseas to coordinate with other corrupt autocrats on some fabricated garbage for who knows what promised payout. Now he needs fox on board to help spread the lies far and wide.

Lachlan Murdoch doesn't like what's going on with The Orange One and he wants to protect his investment.

The entire cabal needs to be perp-walked to a jail cell.

Was it during day, when Barr was being paid to be the country's AG
or at night, where he could at least try to claim it was as a private citizen?

the day before the two arrests of Giuliani associates.
Could be related, or not.

He will make a public declaration that he was unable to find any evidence of a conspiracy from the deep state.

1/ I want you to imagine the reaction of Republicans everywhere if Eric Holder held secret meetings with media CEOs.
I'll tell you what it would be just to save you some time; there would be a damn gibbet erected on the White House lawn.
2/ There would be calls for his immediate removal from office. There would be baroque conspiracy theories ascribing a gigantic plot of liberal subversion against the press and inappropriate pressure brought to bear on media outlets.
3/ Every single conservative media outlet would spend 24 hours a day losing their fucking minds.
Now let me tell you why this is so much worse.
4/ From the beginning, Bill Barr has seen his role not as a neutral figure empowered to uphold and enforce the law, but rather as an explicit enabler of Donald Trump, as a man willing to violate every conceivable norm, and as an overtly partisan shield against accountability.
5/ As I wrote about six months ago, Bill Barr is the most dangerous man in America.
