Attorney General Barr met privately last night with Rupert Murdoch, NYT reports.

The meeting was held at Murdoch's home in New York, according to someone familiar with it.

That Rupert told Billy Barr that Fox is going to ease away from Trump and that he best prepare himself for the winds changing.

What do you think? Good idea?

I know Murdoch's son Lachlan is running Fox and he is not happy with what is going on. He doesn't want his TV channel to go out with the trash and he has been making noises about easing off the 24/7 Trump love fest.

In terms of percentages, I can't predict how likely.

But Trump has been slamming Fox and praising "OAN," so how much of that is Murdoch going to tolerate?

It's a "maybe."

If Murdoch called for it, I could definitely get on board with this theory. Allegedly, there is turmoil at Fox and as you suggest Murdoch's kids aren't very conservative.

If the meeting had been favorable to Trump he might not have tweeted those attacks on Fox news.

...basically telling them that at last, there is a news network that airs the truth, etc, blah blah blah...

That probably supports the idea that the meeting didn't go well.
