Stay safe out there my DU friends. It is going to get uglier. However I believe in America and we will prevail. Chin up, all. The 2018 election was a huge Blue wave. We won back the House and just look what is happening, they have fine tuned their instruments that the Constitution gave them. Most of the work done behind the scenes, much to the loud noise that they are doing nothing. The wheels do not always move quickly, yet are moving forward with precision as they should. They are building toward a crescendo.

One last thing. It is going to take years to undo the damage that the GOP and tRump have done. Years. Perhaps decades.

It was a Rotary thing. I knew I'd be surrounded by RWers so kept my mouth shut. I did meet several very nice people and one woman who's name I recognized as the President of our local League of Women Voters. When I told her I was president of our local Democratic Women's Club, she was so excited. That was nice.
During the dinner, hubby was talking to a woman he works with. Her husband, and the other couple at the table started talking about impeachment. I couldn't hear it all (music was playing), but heard lots of "it's just nonsense," and the like.
Then the woman pipes up to say, " Melania is so elegant and brilliant - she would never put up with any of that."
I thought: 
The nude model is elegant? But Michelle Obama's sleeveless dress was a crime against humanity? Melania is brilliant? 
I stayed quiet and ate my very nice meal.
You have far more patience than I do. Glad you had a good meal at least.
That's what I would have done!
