(60,010 posts)B click with mouse, to "save as", download it to your computer, ( I have a file folder on the desktop just for this purpose.
Open Igmur or other photo share site, it asks you to paste the image, so upload it from your computer.
The photo appears and a B click will give you options on how to paste it into a DU post.
I am pretty sure there are other faster ways to post photos without hot linking, but this works well for me.

(115,806 posts)and it won't save as a kind of image that can be uploaded to Postimage. I do the thing you describe all the time, even with Facebook photos, but this one doesn't work because it's an interactive photo that you can move 360 degrees.
