Is AG Barr attempting to play both sides, in order to stay out of jail?

He has been the errand boy for Donald Trump. Just a couple of days ago, he was speaking to Rupert Murdoch? Nobody knows what it was about? Some have speculated it was about getting rid of Shep Smith. He would be nothing but a burr under the saddle once the campaigns get in full gear. It was best to get rid of him and let FOX News be the state-run propaganda network for Donald Trump's re-election bid.

And we all know how he threw Mueller Report in the trash can, without even reading it.

But now, we hear that he was instrumental in the arrest and indictment of the two associates of Rudy Giuliani? That cannot sit well with Donald J Trump. The investigation had reportedly gone on for several months.

What type of advice is Donald Trump getting from AG Barr today?

If so, a point in the right direction, or link, would be appreciated.

Or is that an assumption based on the fact that, now that the arrests have indeed occurred, he seems not to have interfered?

Is it known from reliable sources that he was aware of this investigation while it was developing?

He is his boss and he is permitting the investigation of Rudy Giuliani.

I'm just curious. I think given the politically/PR explosive nature of the case that it would not be surprising that he had been briefed on it as it developed, but the AG does not get briefed on every investigation, not by a long shot. So I'm curious what is really known about Berman, this case, and Barr.

that Barr will be among several of the Trump Administration to face prison. As of now, it’s clear that Barr is corrupt and unethical. Who know what crimes will be uncovered?

Only he knew about the investigation and did not kill it when it became obvious charges were justified and pending. Probably because he knew there would be a public mutiny by career prosecutors and investigators. And he hates Rudy anyway. Sees him as a rival.

This is all about keeping the base tuned into their CT fantasies. I go back and forth trying to believe whether he believes them or is just trying to pull a Swift Boat on Biden. He is a 70 something year old guy who probably watches nothing but Fox. Argues he believes them. But he is a Christian Domination type who has several times stated he thinks the government has a role in enforcing moral order, whatever that means.

I keep coming back to the belief that he knows of all the corruption, the lies, the smears. But supports it as a means to achieve his goal of a pseudo-theocracy.

First Rudy's buddies, now prosecutors are coming for Rudy. If Rudy ends up in jail he is going to be epsteined, he knows too much. The Russians, pootie-boy will take care of them.
