Trumps wins it by a whisker...

I was lying in bed, unable to sleep because of the state of anxiety the clusterfuck of nasty that is reigning down on all of us has created, so I lay there trying to decide who I hated more; Trump or Boris.

I started with the premise as my Prime Minister I should of course hate Boris more, keep it local and all that. And he nearly won it, not just because of his bombastic verbal bollocks that he thinks can provide cover for his so obvious desire to leave the EU without a deal and the cavalier way in which he disregards any attempts at rational discourse around the obvious dangers of a no deal, but because he is a very clever man and he knows exactly what he is doing, ramping up the division and the mental insecurity of the nation and he just does not care.

Lots of reasons to hate.

Then I moved onto Trump. The same verbose garbled garbage on a frequency of repeat that is unbearable, trying to deflect and camouflage his worst excesses of law breaking and moral turpitude, his utter disregard for the constitution and the high handed manner in which he has created a ‘court’ are all detestable. He is a very sneaky man that is not terribly bright and on a day to day basis it is obvious that he has not got a clue what he is doing, and he just does not care.

Six of one and half a dozen of the other I hear you cry, but not quite. Boris for all his far-right nasty bollocks has enough sense of self-preservation to at least pretend to comply with the law, unlike Trump who literally believes he is the chosen one. Trumps smug vile wanton cruelty that has seen children dying at the border, children dying literally today in Syria because he plainly does not give a flying fuck about the outcome of his absurd fact free and unethical decision making on any given policy means that Trump wins it. Children are dying for no bloody reason but Trump.

Boris is bad. Trump is worse.

Oh, for the bonus round - quite possibly his recent actions on Syria could end up being the start of a new global conflict… that sure as hell clinched it!

Trump is far, far, far worse.

It's not even slightly close.
