Not that the war criminals and sex traffickers are liberals. No they are invariably RepubliCONS. But the filthy rich with a slight liberal bent still pal around with them because they are in the club.

Capitalism makes for some strange relationships. Class defined by money is as bizarre as the feudal class system defined by birth.

I had subscribed to Washington Post and NYT right after the 2016 election to support honest journalism. Lately, I realized that about the only thing of value I found in the NYT was Paul Krugman's columns. The rest tended to irritate me more than enlighten me, so I cancelled. I'm on a budget and figured I'd rather spend that money on donations to Democratic candidates.

going to Dem candidates is much more productive for our Democracy than to the NYT.

They need to be held accountable for the propaganda against our Democracy that they put out.

I stopped mine subscription in 2003.

And let's not forget the crossword puzzle.

As a whole, the profit-driven media in the US is pretty pathetic. And the NYT is frequently part of the problem.
