It's one of the reasons we should make either James Carville or Howard Dean the permanent Democratic Party campaign manager. Neither of those two backed down, and understood just that...every state, every election, every time. Never concede anything. Carville in particular knew that you never let dirt thrown at you go unanswered for even one news cycle.

I would far rather see Howard Dean as head of the DNC. He speaks well for the party and has a 50-state strategy. We need to take back more state and local offices to prevent Republican gerrymandering and the Republican Secretaries of State who kick people off the voter rolls and do every sneaky thing they can to prevent minorities from voting.

Or were the votes for a Democrat so large that the cheat machine could not keep up?

I hope we suffocate the cheat machine Putin and the GOP has built.

After Louisiana's 2018 special elections, Republicans held a 61-39 seat majority with three independents and two vacancies.

Now it's Rep - 60. Dems - 39. Independents - 5. Vacancy - 1.
