Trump brags he's renting out U.S. military to Saudi Arabia: "They're paying us for everything!"

President Trump’s two-faced insincerity reared its ugly head on Friday when it was announced that the United States would be deploying an additional 2,000 soldiers to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with more jets and missiles in order to “defend it against Iran.” Faced with a surprisingly fierce bipartisan backlash, President Trump has spent the entire week desperately trying to justify his cowardly betrayal of America’s Kurdish allies in Syria by harping on the need to end our “endless wars.”

But it turns out that only applies to military deployments that we don’t directly profit from.

When confronted by the media about the stunning hypocrisy, Trump essentially told the nation that he was renting out our armed forces to the highest bidder. “They buy millions of dollars of merchandise from us!”

TRUMP: “Are you ready? Saudi Arabia at my request has agreed to pay us for everything we are doing. That is a first. Saudi Arabia, and other countries soon now, but Saudi Arabia has agreed to pay us for everything we are doing to help them and we appreciate that.” pic.twitter.com/rluCN6gZ9R

I don't get it.

Don't these actions have to be approved by Congress?

Isn't there some kind of oversight in the Pentagon?

I’m sure he is personally profiting from this also. How does the military who voted for this con man feel about being used to help the highest bidder?

Everything is about money for him. About "deals" and "bargains".

The man has no fucking soul and has absolutely no business acting as the POTUS. The job is so far over his head and so much more complex than he can possibly fathom. He will never get it. The sooner we are rid of him the better.

Facing Iran, Saudi Arabia still owes US $181 million for Yemen refueling

September 20, 2019

snip...

WASHINGTON ― The Pentagon was set to outline new military options to President Donald Trump on Friday to respond to an attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil industry, but Riyadh still has an unpaid bill with the Pentagon for $181 million over assistance in Yemen.

Trump told reporters at the White House on Friday that as the U.S. builds a regional coalition to face Iran, America will not shoulder the costs by itself. “We’re also working on the cost of this whole endeavor, and Saudi Arabia has been very generous,” Trump said.

The unpaid bill for refueling contrasts with those comments, and it is already inflaming U.S. lawmakers, many of whom are frustrated with Riyadh’s alleged involvement in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and the Yemen war’s civilian toll.

“Saudi failure to reimburse us for aircraft refueling — hundreds of millions in taxpayer dollars — involves both deep insult and costly injury. It is entirely unacceptable that the Saudis have not reimbursed the Department of Defense for hundreds of millions in refueling costs," Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., said in a statement. “The American taxpayer-funded U.S. Department of Defense is not the Saudi Royal Family’s piggy bank.”[/div]

If the House dems can't stop this menace, it will be the biggest heist in all of history - the US Treasury under control of one man. I still have friends who think it can't happen here, even as it's happening before our eyes.

Some of them are going to be damaged, if not outright broken. Our good friends the Saudis will pay for their physical and mental health treatment for life, right?
