Republicans are so far down the rabbit hole that even if they wanted out...hhhmmm

Remember the good old days when Liberals were evil, the free press was the enemy of the state, residents of all major urban areas were not "real" Americans, blah blah blah, and although all these things were patently ridiculous, at that point in their right wing thinking, getting out of the rabbit hole would have been difficult but doable.

Now…

They are completely vested in this slow-moving coup by neo-fascist criminals. Anyone and everyone who even sounds like a Democrat is apparently worse than the Russians, and the Russians really are your friends. They are nodding dogs to mass murder, democracy dismantling and a bought and paid for President by some of the most odious regimes on planet. They are that far down the rabbit hole.

Hell, republicans have burrowed so right way down in that pesky rabbit hole, they have cornered themselves supporting the despot in chief and even if they wanted out they are so far in that they must be concerned about the old bill comin’ a knockin’ and the idiots think if they stick with it they will have the protection of the President. Yes, they are that stupid.
