The bigger problem was suppressed turnout. The hundreds of thousands of Obama voters who simply didn't vote.

Unfortunately, 25 years of Hillary Hate took a toll. It contributed to a boost in 3rd party voting and, more than anything, to a decline in turnout.

In Pennsylvania, Trump won by 44K votes. Stein got almost 50K.

This was amplified by Russian money.

If she wasn't a candidate, and none of that happened, would those people have stayed home? We don't know.

All we know is that she worked to damage Clinton and also got enough votes to make a difference in the totals.

A majority of 3rd party votes go to right wing 3rd party candidates. And that will likely be true again in 2020.

Plus his late endorsement of Clinton.
