Steve Schmidt is back on MSNBC.

He was on "All In with Chris Hayes" and was as erudite and thoughtful as usual, but I just can't forgive his boneheaded decision to help that guy from Starbucks. It would've guaranteed another 4 years of that thing currently infesting the White House. Well, if he actually runs, that is. Oh, well. There's always channel-hopping if I can't get past it.

Did he really think Howard Schultz would make a good president? And yeah, Sarah Palin. Schmidt never bothered vetting her. He assumed that because she was a governor that she’d be qualified.

That said “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
