Admission ahead of time here: I consider Michael Moore to be a liar with a big ego, who simply will not make accurate "documentaries."
I've read that Moore edited "Bowling For Columbine" when it was released on DVD, the theater version was different.
With flat-out deceptions.
We rightly condemn Dinesh D'Souza's "documentary," because it is obviously deceptive.
So why is it ok for Moore to do the same thing?

(12,618 posts)shortly after it came out. Still have it. There were no changes that I can recall. Every scene in the DVD was exactly how I remembered it in theaters.
I've soured on Moore in recent years, mostly because of his softball stance towards Trump and those who voted him in. But keep your criticism of him grounded in reality. He did NOT change Bowling for Columbine.
