I am sick of this bullshit! He is using OUR money to line his own pockets. There will be millions of dollars in upgrades and repairs that will be paid for in tax dollars before the event. I can't understand why more people aren't outraged by this.

Surely they must realize they will one day need to work with a different Administration, one which will honor the Constitution and our beliefs. Can they not see that kowtowing to Trump on this issue debases them as it dishonors us? Will they not, at long last call, for an end to their complicity? Or will they suffer such foulness in silence and see their alliance further befouled by Putin's presence next year?

Merkel, Macron, and Trudeau send their regets but other matters require their presence at home.

Abe is rightwing but he clearly is uncomfortable and embarrassed around the Orange Idiot, and Japanese officials get called out and publicly humiliated for cheating and self-dealing regularly, so he could be a candidate for declining.

Any who do decline, it will be clear they are doing so as a symbolic effort to lend a sympathetic hand to America's flagging democracy.
