"One more sign that he is feeling threatened and running scared"

Tony Schwartz
@tonyschwartz

Trump never admits being wrong on anything. Now, after fierce criticism for clear self-dealing, he says he won't hold G-7 at his own hotel after all. One more sign that he is feeling threatened and running scared.

1). The House HAS the "readout" (yes, it's not a "transcript&quot

2). Mulvaney

3). The "I can shoot someone on 5th Avenue and get away with it" theory was tested on G7, but why give more ammo to a House that's already deep into an impeachment investigation? That said, he still had to try and see if he could get away with it.

until they leave the White House and she can finally get on with the divorce. Poor Little Donnie. He's going to lose everything and what beautiful young woman is going to want an obese, bald, disgraced, penniless, mushroom-dicked old man as wife number four?
Poor Little Donnie. Of course all of this will bring countless millions of people a rapturous joy!

I saw something about him "allegedly" doing a little internal polling about whether or not it's a good idea.

This is the first I've heard about the WH Squatter making this change. It's good to know the pressure is getting to him.

Now we need to put even more pressure on him.

Up until now, it's been all "witch hunt" swagger.

This is the first time he's blinked HARD. Not including, of course, sending Pence and Pompeo to kiss Erdogan's ass and pull his bacon out of the fire.

Even Bill Barr couldn't have fixed this one for him. It was a clear and blatant violation of the domestic AND international aspects of the emoluments clause.

8. Except the inconvenient fact that Trump did not admit he was wrong... he reversed himself.
Sun Oct 20, 2019, 12:14 AM

And those two things are, unfortunately, in Trumpland, totally different. Trump reverses himself ALL THE TIME. Look at ANY issue and you will see abrupt reversals and positions which are 180-degrees different from things said just the day or week prior. But never an admission of being wrong.

And he very specifically did NOT admit he was WRONG in this case. His announcement of the reversal even INSISTED that holding the G7 summit at Doral would have been a "great thing for our country" or some nonsense.

When it comes to changing his mind he just does that famous pivot thing. It’s usually a 180 degree pivot from one second to the next. Then he pretends no one noticed.

for Donald to start worrying about how his behaviour and choices are perceived as self serving by the rest of humanity.

Something else going on.

May be just me, but I don't trust the guy.

It's never his fault...

"Therefore, based on both Media & Democrat Crazed and Irrational Hostility, we will no longer consider Trump National Doral, Miami, as the Host Site for the G-7 in 2020. "

A diversion to cover the Sondland testimony.

He never even notified the mayor of Doral about the intention.

No dossiers, no Deep State, no secret meetings in the Seychelles, simply a crooked politician paying taxpayer money to himself.
