I shared a link to a post on the Bread and Roses Facebook page to my Facebook page and to the Greater Kansas City Democracy for America page.
More people should be aware of the perils and sacrifices that workers and unions had to deal with.
My grandfather told stories of "workin the mill" when he was 9-12 yrs old. He and other KIDS were sent into textile machinery to clean them out. He was too big after 12.
