Wild fires are bulding up in the Santa Clarita areas in north of the LA.

Hope and prayer those in the area are safe. Watching the Weather Channel and they are should local footage of Castaic, CA.. House are starting catch fire from the high winds. I travel thru that often when I am going up towards Bakersfield or to LA on I5. Sad and dangerous situation.

The sad thing is that after wet years, like last year, it is worse because the brush and other vegetation just explode in growth so when it dries out at this time of year.....

She works in Simi Valley and her two small kids go to pre-school there. She left right before 3:00 p.m., trying to get to the 14 Freeway. Roads are backed up. Fire Trucks, Police constantly going forwards Canyon County (Tic Fire). So far the 14 is still opened but jammed.

Apparently there are 4 fires.

I wish her the best. I can't imagine what she has to endure going up CA14. Traffic is horrible on a good day.
