Is deflection and projection in lieu of facts and consensus reality. What about so and so? Look over there!

What is good about that is it becomes more and more obvious with repetition. Overusing it is going to increase the cognitive dissonance it generates when things don't match up correctly.

Perhaps they more they ram this down people's throats the more it reveals what little substance they have to offer and it may indicate that they are at the end of their rope. I think this should be pointed out repeatedly since repetition seems to be the key to getting ideas through.
