I can't imagine living under this stress.--never knowing when your home could go up in flames, evacuating and not know what is happening.

(admittedly a personal, arguably irrational thing on my part, partly related to my repulsion regarding his first marriage, and his former wife- the one who now hangs out with Don Jr - shudder).
BUT his statement here is absolutely spot on.

to start a fire in California, I think of arson every time I hear about fires over there.😞

It’s Hell. I live in Thousand Oaks and had to evacuate last year. Sweating it out again this year.

Our two neighbors have just moved into their rebuilt house and now we all face power cuts - recent one was three days (with no water).

Turning off our power seems like shutting the barn door as the horse is about to bolt.
