thing out yet, as in your OP comment.

Yes malaise, I am sure a judge who is not a sycophant piece of human shit like every judge rump has appointed, would come to this conclusion.

But there is NO MECHANISM to force this to happen if the WH and the DOJ are traitors. Are unwilling to follow the law, and that is who they are.

I hope this happens but I am predicting it wont. We are in much worse shape than folks realize.

I think he should make his copy available to the House Intelligence Committee.

Are two very different things in terms of enforcement. They are compelled to turn it over or someone's getting tossed in jail. More likely they appeal and try to drag it out as long a possible.

While I totally understand your skepticism considering the bullshit we witness on a daily basis, federal judges order people locked up for contempt routinely and they have law enforcement resources at their disposal, unlike a House Committee.

If the Judge issues an arrest based on a contempt order, Barr would have to coerce the FBI (or whatever agency) to ignore the order. That would be a huge breach on his part, there would be a paper trail, and that would leave him personally open to future indictment, and he understands that perfectly well. If Barr had that kind of power, he would have shutdown SDNY before they went after Rudy and his gang that can't shoot straight. Barr is very powerful but not omnipotent, and unfortunately, he's not stupid like his predecessor. IMO, he'll try to run out the clock via appeals to SCOTUS, so by the time they have to turn this over the impeachment will have already happened (and perhaps the election.) Hopefully the appeal will be expedited.

The only chance they have of withholding is a Supreme Court decision in their favor, IMO.
