Are we going to really trust Bolton?

Just as Cohen turned on Trump, but will Bolton actually give us the true facts or what Trump wants him to give?

over Giulliani's shadow "diplomacy" and corrupt behind the scenes activities. Whether he MIGHT try to give Trump personal cover (can't imagine HOW) is another question...

His ideology is that of an extreme neoconservative - he's very much into that old Bush Administration nation-building, American exceptionalism, interventionist stuff. Fat Nixon, to the extent he has any ideology at all other than that which benefits him personally, is an isolationist. He's the opposite of Bolton in respect of foreign policy, so he and Trump were always a match made in Hell. So I don't think he has any desire to defend Trump, at least where the Ukraine matter is concerned. In fact, Bolton is known to be a mean, vengeful SOB, and he might even be inclined to shiv his old boss, just because that's how he rolls.

I am not expecting much from his testimony. If he ends up helping to bring down 45, great. If he doesn’t, then I will not be surprised as the right sticks together like thieves most of the time.
