Before you change the thread with great force and nasty comments, note that one segment was a love feast over Joe Biden.
Meghan noted that when asked about who she may vote, her answer is "One constantly trashed my father and entire family and did his best to destroy his legacy. The other one has been friends with my family since before I was born. What would you do?"
And Cindy mentioned Joe's wife introduced her and John.
It was not at all what I expected.

(32,783 posts)Not a fan of Meghan, but Im here to tell ya first hand, Arizonans had one favorite son and that was John McCain. It will only help our cause and help Mark Kelly become US Senator dem #2 in AZ. Now thats a big deal.

(89 posts)I agree completely.
I turned on firing line and had my finger hovering over the remote, to change the channel. But I started listening, mainly to Cindy McCain, and realized she carries her husbands legacy, and can really speak to what she has seen as the nature of political discourse in Congress, and nationally, has changed so much. What she said was important. I did not change the channel. And yes, Meghan drives me nuts, but I think back to her powerful eulogy for her father, and how she called out Donald Trump from the pulpit without ever mentioning his name. And I will always give her props for that.
