The most obvious reason

republicans demand the breaking of laws, like the release of FISA Court documents, names of LEGALLY protected whistleblowers,
of their own, established by them in 2015, House Procedural Rules, National Security violations, etc., etc. is only to enrich themselves, secure
their ill-gotten power over American Citizens and further their reliance on WIN BY ANY MANY MEANS NECESSARY while making the American Citizens pay for everything they destroy.
